Color terms

what are secondary colors? Three colors that are achieved from equal parts of two primary colors examples: 1. violet 2.Green 3.Orange
What are tertiary colors? when you mix equal parts of one primary and 1 secondary color. examples :red-violet, blue-violet, blue-green, yellow-green, yellow-orange, red-orange
what are neutral colors? black, grey, white, brown, tan
what are triadic color harmony three colors that are located within equal distance of each other. examples: orange, violet, green,red, blue, yellow
what are complementary colors? two colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel. Examples yellow & violet
what is slipt complementary harmony? created eated by using any color and the two colors located next to the colors. Examples: yellow, red-violet, blue-violet
what are primary colors? red, yellow, blue
what are monochromartic colors? they are achieved by using tints and shades of only one color. Examples: navy blue, bright blue, and baby blue
what are analogous colors? using three or more colors that are next to each other on the color wheel Examples: red, red-violet, violet
what is saturated colors? color that is mixed with pure white colors
