Unit 2 Vocabulary

QuestionAnswer
Drive the largest storage area; the C: drive is usually the hard drive, but you can have other drives on your school network, or on a separate device, such as your CD drive.
Folder a place to save and organize files, such as documents or pilctures
File a collection of data; files can be text, graphics, or other types of media such as video clips.
Shortcut an icon that is a direct link to a file or folder.
Save As to duplicate, or copy, a file
Keyword a word (or words) keyed into a search box that matches the topic you are looking for.
Content Search look for information from a list of categories and topics.
Keyword Search The search results include all of the topics in which the keywords appear
