Gmail: Google Web based email service
Email: Electronic Mail; a way of delivering messages over the Internet
Pop Email: Electronic Mail; a way of delivering messages over the Internet
Vacation Mode: When enabled, puts a Gmail account on hold while the user is on vacation.
Conversation: A grouping of related email messages
Signature: Personalized text that appears at the bottom of an email message.
Attachment: A file that is attached to a normal text email message
Executable Program File: A computer file that contains a software program.
Cc: Carbon Copy
Bcc: Blind Carbon Copy
Inbox: A computer file that contains a software program.
Label: A keyword or tag that describes an email message.
Priority Inbox: A special Gmail inbox that organizes messages in order of importance.
Snippet: A short excerpt from an email message.
Star: A means of flagging important email messages.
Archive: A means of storing older or inactive email messages.
Filter: A means of applying one or more actions to incoming messages that meet specific criteria.
Keyword: A word included as part of a search query.
Contact: A person which whom you send messages to.
Contact Group: A group of contacts, typically used to send email mailing lists.
Spam: Unsolicited commercial email.
Computer Virus: A malicious computer program capable of reproducing itself and causing harm to files or programs on a computer system.
