evaluate | form an idea of the amount, number, or value of; assess |
analyze | examine methodically and in detail the constitution or structure of (something, especially information), typically for purposes of explanation and interpretation |
scarcity | the state of being scarce or in short supply; shortage |
supply and demand | the amount of a commodity, product, or service available and the desire of buyers for it, considered as factors regulating its price. |
sustainable | able to be maintained at a certain rate or level |
famine | an extreme scarcity of food |
malnutrition | poor health caused by lack of adequate food |
production | the action of making or manufacturing from components or raw materials, or the process of being so manufactured |
conservation | prevention of wasteful use of a resource |
drought | long period without rain |
agriculture | the growing of food |
consumption | the using up a resource |
livestock | animals raised for meat or milk |
pollution | the presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects |
