Cro-Magnon | A hominid of a tall erect race of the Upper Paleolithic known from skeletal remains found chiefly in Southern France and classified as the same species as present day humans. |
Agriculture | The science or practice of farming, including cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops and the rearing of animas to provide food, wool, and other products. |
Domestication | The process of taming an animal and keeping it as a pet or on a farm. |
Hunter-Gatherer | A member of a nomadic people who live chiefly by hunting, fishing, and harvesting wild food. |
Teosinte | A Mexican grass that is grown as folder and is considered to be one of the parent plants of modern corn. |
Pastoralist | A sheep or cattle farmer. |
Neolithic Revolution | the origin and consequences the introduction of agriculture, domestication of animals, and a more sedentary life during the later part of the Stone Age. |
