| absolute location | the exact location of something |
| continent | the world's main masses of land |
| relative location | a location that is related to something else |
| hemisphere | a half of earth that is divided by the equator |
| equator | an imaginary line that separates the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere |
| prime meridian | an imaginary line that separates the eastern and western hemisphere |
| latitude | lines that are located horizontally on a map or globe |
| longitude | lines that are located vertically on a map or globe |
| climate | weather that changes over a period of time |
| natural resources | resources that are made by the earth |
| population distrubution | populations that are in separate groups |
| trade | when someone gives you something in exchange for something elses |
| modify | to change very little |
| northern hemisphere | europe, asia ,north america, africa |
| southern hemisphere | antartica,austraila,africa,brazil |
