how does the French and Indian war relate to the beginning of the American revolution The colonists were still mad because the British soldiers were on their land. The British won.
Stamp Act People made speeches against it.They boycotted. It is a tax that required almost everything printed on paper to have an official stamp before it could be bought and sold
Townshed Acts A tax on goods imported to the colonists. People were mad because they had no say in the decision to tax.
Boston Massacre Colonists argued with soldiers because they were in their city and it escalated into a fight with gun fire. A bloody event that occurred in Boston. Five people were killed, including Crispus Attucks. This event was used as propaganda by the patriots.
Tea Act They did not want parliament to tax them, and they didn't want just one company to control all of the tea. It was a British law that taxed tea and allowed only certain merchants to sell it.
Boston Tea Party Sons of Liberty held a protest to protest the tea act. The response was that they threw tea over board into the water.
Intolerable Acts. British response to the Tea Party. People throughout the colonies said the laws were too harsh. The first continental congress was started.
First Continental Congress Met in Philadelphia to discuss how to support the Massachusetts Patriots. Congress wrote a letter to British government that said that they should have the same freedoms as other British citizens.
Battles of Lexington and Concord 8 colonists lay dead after this battle. First shot fired has been called "The shot heard around the world." The shot that was first fired started the battle of Lexington and Concord.

Saratoga the Patriots won. the french and other countries were convinced that America would win so they helped with money and people.
Yorktown the Patriots won it was the last major battle, the British surrendered
