What was George Washington setting when he did not run for a third presidential term? a precedent
Who was supplying the American Indians with weapons in the frontier? The British army that remained in the American frontier after the Revolutionary War. There were still forts in the frontier that the British controlled.
What did George Washington believe would tear this country apart? Think about in terms of political disagreement. The emergence of political parties, known back then as political factions.
How many terms did Washington serve as president? He served 2 terms and then resigned, even though the American people wanted him to continue to be president.
This event was a protest led by farmers in western Pennsylvania. The Whiskey Rebellion
What was the Treaty of Greenville? In this treaty, Native Americans gave up territory to the United States. Today it was basically the state of Ohio.
What was the main battle that led to the Treaty of Greenville? The Battle of Fallen Timbers, led by Anthony Wayne
Who was chief Little Turtle? He was the leader of the Miami Nation of Native Americans. He was also the 5th Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
The Election of 1800 was an interesting election, it was tied between two candidates. In order to decide, whom made the final decision? It was the House of Representatives that voted to decided who would be the next president.
