AutoCorrect | A feature available in most Microsoft Office 2007 programs that automatically corrects common spelling errors as you type. |
Caps Lock | Keyboard key used to toggle uppercase letters with lowercase letters. |

selection bar | a narrow strip along the left margin of a page that automates selection of text. When the mouse pointer is in the selection area, the cursor changes to an arrow pointing up and to the right. |

highlight | to apply a colored background to text to call attention to it. |
horizontal alignment | the position of text in relation to the left and right page margins. |
flush | lined up evenly along an edge. |
vertical alignment | the position of text in relation to the top and bottom page margins. |
line spacing | the amount of white space between lines of text in a paragraph |
leading | line spacing measured in points |
paragraph spacing | the amount of white space between paragraphs |
full block | A style of letter in which all lines start flush with the left margin-that is, without a first-line indent. |
modified block | a style of letter in which some lines start at the center of the page. |
Return address | The author's adress, typically appearing at the very top of the letter as well as in the upper-left corner of an envelope. |
Letterhead | Paper with a company's name and address already printed on it. |
Inside address | The recipient's address typed in the letter above the salutation. |
Salutation | The line at the start of a letter including the greeting and the recipient's anem, such as Dear Mr. Doe. |
Computer's clock | The clock/calander built into your computer's main processor to keep track of the current date and time. |
Field | A placeholder for data that might change. |
Case | THe specific use of upper- or lowercase letters. |
Delivery address | A recipient's address printed on the outside of an envelope. |
Tab | The measurement of the space the insertion point advances when you press the Tab key. |
Tab stop | The location on a horizontal line to which the insertion point advances when you press the Tab key. |
Tab leader | A series of characters inserted along the line between the location of the insertion point when you press the Tab key and the tab stop. |
Font | A set of characters with a specific size and style. |
