| 0-2 months | Turns head side to side, lifts head and sustains in midline, head held to one side when in supine |

| 5-6 months | In prone, shifts weight forward and reaches in supine, lifts head independently, reaches for toy, hands are mostly open, rolls from prone to supine sits alone momentarily, transfers objects from hand to hand |

| 7-10 months | Reciprocal creep, sits alone steadily, may get to sitting position from prone, pulls to stand usually starting in half kneel, volitional release |
