data   Raw, unorganized facts and figures, or unprocessed information.

information   Data that’s been processed (organized, arranged, or calculated) in a way that converts it into a useful form, such as a report.

text data   Data consisting of alphabet letters, numbers, and special characters, such as in spreadsheet formulas, and that typically enable the computer to produce output such as letters, email messages, reports, and sales and profit projections.

graphic data   Data consisting of still images, including photographs, charts, drawings, and maps.

audio data   Data consisting of sounds, such as recorded voice narration and music.  
🗑
video data   Data consisting of moving pictures and images, such as webcam data from a videoconference, a video clip, or a full-length movie.

information processing   Using a computer to convert data into useful information. Also called data processing.

information processing cycle   A cycle in which the computer accepts input (data), performs processing on the data, displays or sends the resulting output, and then keeps the output in storage if required for future use.

input   The first step in the information processing cycle, or physically entering data into a computer or device.

processing   The operations carried out in the computer’s electrical circuits that transforms input (data) into information or output.

output   The information created as a result of computer processing; also the action of printing or displaying such information.

storage   Recording processed output (information) on a medium such as a hard disk, flash drive, external hard disk, or cloud storage area for future use; also the media used to store the information.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
 
To hide a column, click on the column name.
 
To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.
 
You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.
 
Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
