what kind of feedback is the most common? negative feed back
the human body is divided into how many portions and what portions? two portions the axal portion and the perpendicularity portion
what is the axal portion? head neck, trunk
what is cranial cavity? houses the skull
what is the vertebra canal? hold the spinal cord and vertebra
what is the thoratic cavity? the abdominal pelvic cavity holds the viscera
what is the viscera? are the internal organs
what is an organ? structure composed of two or more tissue types that work together to carry out a particular function
what is integumentary system? protective , temperature, sensory, receptros EX: hair nails gland Job: dermatology
What is the skelatal system? provides support, shape, protection, blood formation. Ex: bones, cartilage, tendons, ligaments Job: osteology
what is the muscular systems? provides movement stability, heat production EX: many Job: myology
What is the nervous system? conduct electrical impulses to regulate and control other organ systems Ex: brain, spinal cord, nervous Job: nyorology
What is the endocrine system? regulate and control processes of the body with hormones Ex: hormone secreting glands
what is the cardiovascular system? to circulate blood throughout the body and transport gases and nutrients waste. Ex: heart, blood vessels, blood Job: cardiology
What is the lymphatic system? immune system transport fluids Ex: lymph, lymph nodes, vessels, thymus, spleen, tonsils Job: Immunology
what is the digestive system? digest and absorb nutrients Ex: mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, intestines, rectum and anal. Job: gastroenterology
what is the respiratory system? exchange gases between the body's tissues and external environment Ex: nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronch, lungs Job: plumchology
what is the urinary system? removing excess water and nutrients and filter waste from the circulatory systems. Ex: kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra
What is the reproductive system? produce transport sustain egg and sperm cells and to nurture offspring and produce hormones. Ex: Male and female Job: gynecology
