| Insecticide resistance | When future generations of insects develope an immunity to a chemical insecticide. |
| Competition for mates | When species develope interesting adaptations to attract mates. |
| The Theory of Natural Selection | A theory that explains how populations of organisms change in response to its environment. |
| Speciation | The formation of new species as a result of evolution. |
| Separation | The first step of speciation in which part of the population becomes separated from the rest. |
| Adaptation | The second step of speciation in which some of the population start changing in order to survive in its environment. |
| Division | The final phase of speciation in which the organisms have become a new species. |
