Is it okay to perform an EVLT on a patient with DVT? No...we shouldn't laser the GSV if it is serving as a collateral for the deep system.
When a patient performs a valsalva maneuver, what should happen? All venous flow should stop.
Is an ulceration on the foot most likely an arterial or venous problem? Arterial.
Are venous ulcers typically painful? Not really, they tend to be mildly painful.
Congestive heart failure can cause bilateral swelling...which can cause what type of Doppler signal in a deep LE vein? Pulsatile.
