Calvin cycle - step 1 CO2 combines with RuBP to form a six carbon molecule, which splits to form two 3 carbon molecules, called 3-PGA
Calvin cycle - step 2 3-PGA is converted into G3P using ATP and NADPH
Calvin cycle - step 3 One molecule of G3P is used to make organic compounds (leaves the Calvin cycle)
Calvin cycle - step 4 The remaining G3P is converted back into RuBP to start the cycle again
Stomata Small pores that plants lose water to air through. They also let CO2 enter the plant.
