QuestionAnswer
Hypothesis A testable explanation for a question or problem
Experiment Procedure that tests a hypothesis.
Experimental Group In an experiment, the group that is tested.
Control Group In an experiment, the group used for comparison.
Independent Variable A single factor changed by the scientist in an experiment.
Dependent Variable Changes measured/recorded in an experiment.
Constants Factors that do not change in an experiment.
Biology The study of life.
Organism Anything that shows all characteristics of life.
Metabolism The process of breaking down food into energy (ATP)
Reproduction The process of making your own kind.
Responsiveness Reacting to something in your environment.
