| Large Intestine | Compact coil with a larger diameter that than the small intestine |
| Caecum | At the junction between the large and small intestines. This is lie our appendix. It can help slow the digestion of plants |
| Rectum | lies towards the back of the pig and is not movable.It opens to the outside of the pig (where waste is stored) |
| Anus | the outside of the pig |
| Pancreas | Makes insulin which i necessary for the proper uptake of sugars from the blood |
| Spleen | Stores blood and is not part of the digestive system |
| Kidneys | Responsible for removing harmful substances from the blood, these substances are excreted as urine |
| Umbilical Vessels and Urinary bladder | Vessels can be seen on the umbilical cord and the bladder lies between them |
| Pericardium | Thin membrane that surrounds the heart |
| Atria | the top two chambers of the heart |
| Ventricles | the lower two chamber of the heart |
| Pulmonary trunk | Curves upwards and joins the aorta |
| Aorta | a vessel which arches from the heart and curves around to go to the lower part of the body. |
