Prey An animal hunted by other animals.

Herbivore An animal that feeds on plants only.
Carnivore An animal that feeds on meat (other animals) only.
Omnivore An animal that feeds on plants and animals(meat)
Bacteria A decomposer in the food chain.
Fungi A decomposer in the food chain.
Plants Producers in the food chain.
Animals Consumers in the food chain.
Cycle Something that occurs in nature over and over again.
Experiment Observations made and recorded to determine the answer to a question.
Prediction A guess made by a scientist on the outcome of an experiment.
Physical adaptation Physical differences in animals bodies that help them survive in their environment.
Population The number of the same organism living in an animal community.
Community Different animals (organisms) living together in a habitat.
Behavioral adaptation When an animalt changes their behavior to help them survive.
