Cytoplasm A substance that flows between the nucleus and the cell membrane.
Cell Wall Provides protection and gives the plant cell added structure.Outside the cell membrane.
Vacuole sac that stores water,food and waste
Lysosome breaks down waste material
Cytoskeleton Provides intracellular transport
Mitochondria Provides energy for cell processes
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum(RER) Helps produce protein and DNA structures.
Chromosome Contains an organism genetic material.23 pairs in humans
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum(SER) Detoxifies harmful substances
Golgi Complex Package and transport materials out of the cell.
Chloroplast Photosynthesis occurs here.
Centrosome Distribute microtubules for motor proteins to transport vesicles. In other words – moves the microtubules around so they can send out spindle fibers to attach to the centromeres on the chromosomes.
Cell Basic unit of life.
