QuestionAnswer
Blood Pressure The pressure exerted against the walls of a blood vessels.
Heart A hollow muscular organ that pumps blood throughout the body.
Atrium Each of the two upper chambers of the heart.
Aorta The largest artery in the body.
Ventricle A lower chamber of the heart that pumps blood to the lungs and body.
Vein A blood vessel that carries blood to the heart.
Heart Attack A condition in which blood flow in the heart is blocked.
Valve A flap of tissue in the heart or a vain that prevents blood from flowing backward.
Cardio vascular system The body system that consists of the heart blood vessels etc.
