What is the synthetic antibody that is injected into the mother in the last trimester or shortly after birth? Rhogam
Where do old and damaged red blood cells end up? liver & spleen
What happenes in the liver and spleen? The damaged red blood cells are engulfed by macrophages. Then the components are recycled.
Where does the Iron go after its recycled in from the blood? bone marrow for hemoglobin
Where does the Protein go after its recycled from the blood? go to sites of prtein and fat synthesis
