describe what a disaccharide is a dissacharide is formed when two or more monosaccharides join together.
describe what a polysaccharide is a polysaccharide is formed when more than 2 monosaccharides join together.

describe the secondary structure the chain of amin acids coils and folds to form an alpha helix or a beta pleated sheet
