What is Variation?
OCR BIOLOGY - Variation in plants and animals.

| What does Meosis do? | Shuffles the alleles so that the gametes contain a mixture. |
| What does Sexual reproduction do? | The male gametes fuse randomly with female gametes. |
| What is discontinuous variation? | No, or few intermiadiates and are controlled by a single gene. |
| Give some examples of discontinuous variation. | Earlobes, tongue rolling |
| What is continuous variation? | The intermiadiates present and controlled by many genes. |
| Give some examples of discontinuous variation. | Height, weight |
