What is the purpose of roots? absorb nutrients and moisture, gives plants stability

The area of the root where cells change in order to become different tissues. The maturation zone
What are root hairs? They are the main workers. They are attached to the main root and absorb water and nutrients nutrients.
Name an edible tuberous root. Sweet potato
Name edible taproots. Carrot, Parsnip, Radish
