Sagittal plane divides the structure into right and left sections.
Midsagittal plane divides the structure into equal right and left sections.
Parasagittal plane divides the structure into unequal right and left sections.
Frontal or Coronal plane divided the structure into anterior and posterior portions.
Transverse divides the structure into superior and inferior portions.
