lysosomes organelles with chemicals in them that break down material for the cell
mitochondria special organelles that use energy from food to convert it into energy for cells to use to carry out special functions
cell membrane in all cells. an outside boundary that separates the cell from it environment. (controls what comes in and out of cell)
nuclear envelope protective layer that surrounds the nucleus.
