What bond is the strongest? Covalent is the strongest bond.
Which bond is the weakest? A hydrogen bond is the weakest.
Photosynthesis equation CO2 + H20 + engery (sun) -------> C6H12O6 + O2 (oxygen)
What is the balanced photosynthesis equation? 6CO2 + 6H2O + energy (sun) -----------> C6H12O6 + 6O2
Polymers are what? Long chains of molecules which are made up of small parts called monomers.
Eukaryotic Has a nucleus and many organelles.
What are the 4 major groups of macromolecules? carbohydrates ( Energy) , Proteins , LIpids and Nucleic acids.
Carbohydrates monosaccharides are? glucose ( blood sugar) , Galactose (sugar in milk and yogurt) , and Frutose (sugar in honey and fruit products.
What are Carbohydrates Disaccarides? Sucrose ( common table sugar) , Lactose (major milk sugar which is composed as glucose and galactose) , Maltose (starch breakdown or digestion).
What are Carbohydrates polysaccharides? Starches, Glycogen , and Cellulose
What are starches? Products of photosynthetic organisms with two types. Amylose ( unbranched chain of hundreds of gluecose molecules) Amylopectin (highly branched chain of gluecose molecules.
What is Glycogen? glycogen is how animals store gluecose in their system in their systems in their liver and skeletal muscle tissue.
What is Cellulose? thousands of linear, flat gluecose chains (tightly packed together to form cell wall of plants) , undigestible to humans ut we need it for fiber in our diet.
Proteins are...? Organic compounds that have NItrogen as well as carbon , hydrogen and oxygen. Think "structural". Proteins are also energy that pro vied 4kcal of engery per gram consumed.
