Circulation and Gas Exchange
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|

| Gastrovascular Cavities | A circulatory like system in animals such as hydras and jellies. It is also found in flatworms. |
| Open Circulatory System | A system in which the circulatory fluid bathes the organs directly. Animals such as grasshoppers. |
| Hemolymph | Circulatory fluid found in animals with an open circulatory system. This fluid is also the interstitial fluid (fluid that bathes the body cells). |
