Sexual & Asexual Reproduction

Asexual reproduction is ? Reproduction without sex.
Fission ? Type of asexual reproduction that occurs mainly in one-celled organisms.
What is called Budding ? A type of asexual reproduction in which the new organism grows out from the parent.
The term for spores ? Is specialized tiny reproductive cells that are produced and released by the parent in large numbers
The ability of an organism to replace lost body parts It's called Regeneration.
Is the process by which a complete new plant grows from a leaf stem, or root of the parent plant Vegetative Propagation.
Is called a Sexual Reproduction ? Is the reproduction in which there are two parents.
The term called egg is ? Is the reproductive cell produced by a female.
The reproductive cell produced by a male ? A sperm.
A fertilization ? A uniting (joining) of the egg and sperm.
The male part of the flower ? A stamen.
What does the pollen contain ? Contains plant sperm.
The term for flower ? Reproductive part of plant.
What is the female part of the plant ? Its called a pistil.
A fertilization that happens when pollen is transferred from the male part of the flower to female part of the flower ? Pollinating or Pollination.
Beginning to grow in a seed ? Is called Germinate.
Organ where eggs cells are produced ? An ovary.
What is a teste ? An organ where sperm cells is produced.
A series of changes an organism goes through in its own development and in reproduction ? The life cycle.
What is the term embryo ? An early stage of development of organisms.
What is the placenta ? It feeds fetus in placental mammals; chorion of embryo + uterine lining.
The products of reproduction ? The offspring.
Thhe parent cell, from 2 individuals, that combine to form a new individual ? The sex cell.
The reproduction system ? Asexual reproduction.
