QuestionAnswer
photosynthesis the process by which plants, algea, and some bacteria use sunlight, carbon dioxcide, and water to produce carbohydrates and oxyen.
autotrophs an organisum that produces its own nutrience from inorganic substances or from the enviornment instead of consuming organisums.
heterotrophs an organisum that obtains organic food molecule by eating other organisums or their by products and that cannot aynthesize organisums compounds from inorganic mateirials.
cellular respiration the process by which cells produce energy from carbohydrates; atmospheric oxgyen combines with glucose to from water and carbon dioxide.
