nucleoli dense bodies that are the site of ribosome synthesis
chromatin The mass of DNA material and its associated protein
histone globules of a protein (used to: form chromatin, the DNA molecule is wound around "globules of a protein")
chromatid Two copies of each chromosome
centromere Two chromatids are joined to one another at a region
centrioles microscopic bodies that begin to migrate to opposite sides of the cell
kinetochore a region of DNA that has remained undivided
chromosomes The chromatids are chromosomes after the separation
