| chlamydia | bacterium, genital & urinary tracts, PID and sterility, possibly death, or ectopic pregnancy |
| genital herpes | viral, dormant (or latent) until triggered |
| venereal warts (genital warts) | papilloma virus, 90% of cervical cancer tissues studied to date |
| Hepatitis B | inflammation of the liver; bloodborne pathogen; virus found in blood, saliva, & other body fluids; sexual content is currently the primary way of catching HBV |
