these cells are the first ones to fight invaders phagocytes
stick to the pathogen so they can be quickly and easily destroyed antibodies
this is where T cells and B cells are created and trained thymus
these cells create antibodies B cells
Send out a chemical that lets the other cells know what pathogen has invaded the body T cells
After pus forms, these arrive to destroy the invaders macrophages
