QuestionAnswer
what is a cell? collection of living matter enclosed by a barrier that seperates the call from its surroundings.
what is stimulus? a signal to which an organism responds.
what is homeostasis? the process of maintaining constant internal conditions or balance.
what is development? a single fertalized egg cell divides again, and again to produce many cells of mature organisms.
what is differentation? cells dividing to form cells such as liver cells, brain cells, and muscle cells by changing its shape and structure.
organisms take in what to live or eat? energy.
what is evolution? modern organisms that have descended from anceint organisms?
what is a variable? anything that MIGHT take on different values in an experiment.
controlled variables are.... the things kept constant in an experiment.
independant variables... is what the experimenter chooses to change.
dependant variables... respond to changes the experimenter makes to the independant variable.
what is a procedure? an action (doing something).
