Ecology study of organisms and their interactions with each other and their environment
Population Group of similar species that live in the same place at the same time.
Community Several populations that live and interact in the same place at the same time
Ecosystem A community and all the abiotic factors that affect it.
autotroph organism that can change sunlight into chemical energy it can use
heterotroph organism that must get its energy from other organisms
decomposer special heterotroph that breaks down dead organisms and returns its nutrients to the ecosystem
