Pedigree Graphic repersentation of genetic inheritance used by geneticsts to map genetic traits.
Heterozygous When there are two diffrent alleles for a trait.
Pollination Transfers of male pollen to grain to the pistil of a flower.
Homozygous When there are two identical alletels for a trait
Phenotype Outword apperance of an organism; regardless of it's genes.
Probability Chance that an event will occur.
Traits Characteristics that is inheritance; can be either dominate or ressive.
Inheritance The process of genetic transmision of characteristics from parents to offsprings.
Fertilization Fusion of male and female gametes.
Alleles Alternative form of a gene for each varation of a trait of an organism.
Punnett Squares It takes account of the facts of fertilization that occures at random.
Dominate Observation trait of an organism that makes the recessive for a trait.
Recessive Traits of an organism that can be masked by the dominat form of a trait.
