Describe the normal immune response

Reaction to particular substances, cells, toxins, proteins, etc. by recognizing and remembering invaders upon initial exposure. When the invaders return, an army of defenders are waiting to destroy the invaders.

The defense only responds to a particulate that has been identified as a threat. The system will tolerate "self cells".
