Describe the secondary structure of proteins/AAs. They coil into a helix shape with side chains sticking out to not hinder the helix.
What locks the helix structure so it stays rigid? Hydrogen bonds
Amino chains attach to each other side by side called ___. Beta sheets.
What holds the beta sheets together? Hydrogen bonds.
