What is a biotic element? Any living thing found in the enviornment
What is an organism? A living thing
What is a micro organism? A living thing that is small and must be seen with the help of a mircoscope
What are species? A group and similar organism that can mate and reproduce more of the same type of organism
What is a population? A group of organisms of the same species in a given area
What is a community? A group of population of different species in a given area.
What is an aboitic elemnet? any non-living component of the enviornment
What is an ecosystem? The network of interaction that link the living and non- living parts of an environment
What is a ecology? The study of relationships between organisms and between organisms and their environment
What is a habitat? The environment where an organism lives
What is an omnivore? Plant and meat eater
2 examples of omnivores bears and humans
What is nutrient? A substance that an organism needs to grow
What is an herbivore? Plant eaters
2 examples of herbivores Deer and beaver
What is a carnivore? Meat eater
2 examples of carnivores Wolf and bass
What ar scavengers? Eat already dead animals
2 examples of scavenger turkey vulture and coyote
