Pituitary Gland influence growth, metabolism, and maturation. Also called hypophysis, pituitary body. influence growth, metabolism, and maturation
Pineal Gland Produces a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions.
Hypothalamus Gland controls body temperature, hunger, thirst,[1] fatigue, sleep, and circadian cycles.
Thyroid Gland controls how quickly the body uses energy, makes proteins, and controls how sensitive the body should be to other hormones.
Parathyroid Gland control the amount of calcium in the blood and within the bones
Pancreas Gland secretes a digestive fluid into the intestine through one or more ducts and also secretes the hormone insulin.
Adrenal Gland They are chiefly responsible for releasing hormones in conjunction with stress through the synthesis of corticosteroids such as cortisol and catecholamines, such as epinephrine.
Ovary Gland reproductuvive gland in a female
Testes Gland male reproductive gland
Thymus Gland aiding in the production of T cells of the immune system
