QuestionAnswer
Nutrition- Living organisms need food for energy.
Digestion – foods broken down into simpler substances.
Absorption – absorbing materials like water from the environment.
Biosynthesis- cells organize substances / necessary for growth.
Respiration – substances are broken down & energy is released.
Excretion – getting rid of waste.
Secretion – passing off materials other than waste (like water).
Response – reacting to changes in the environment.
Reproduction- Cells split into two cells.
Photosynthesis – Plants use the sun’s energy to make food.
Respiration - Living organisms use oxygen and digested food to release energy.
