what is an antheridium? Male reproductive part of ferns that produce sperm
what is dormancy? a period of decreased activity
what is germination early growth stage of a plant embryo
what is gravitropism? responce from a plant towards gravity, ensures roots grow into soil
what is meristematic tissue? region of plant that produces new cells
what is photoperiodism? responce from a plant towards light
what is primary growth (in stems) elongation... increasing in length
what is the endodermis? layer of cells enclosing vascular tissue
what is the function of the roots? anchor and support the plant
what type of plant lives the longest? perennial plants
