What is the difference between bone and cartilage? Bone is hard and cartilage is soft.
Define Vertebrates. It is an organism with a backbone.
Define exoskeleton. A skeleton underneath the skin.
What do all vertebrates have other than a backbone? They have a skeleton.
Define deoxygenated blood. It is blood without oxygen.
Define arteries. They are passages that take blood away from the heart.
Define veins. They are passages that take blood away from the heart.
Define capillaries. They exchange gases between atmosphere and the blood.
How many heart chambers does each of the following have: Fish Reptiles Mammals 2 3 4
What muscles is important in breathing? It is lungs.
