| Describe the function of the Gallbladder and its part in the digestive system. | The Gallbladder stores your bile (about 1 pint)the bile makes the "mush" a more neutral mixture. |
| What is the difference between digestion and ingestion? | Digestion is the breaking down of nutritional particles ingestion is taking those nutrients into the body. |
| Why is peristalsis compared to that of a large crowd doing the wave? | Peristalsis is a muscle reaction that basically squeezes your food down to your stomach, but it does not stop there. It continues on through the digestive track. |
| What does the Digestive System Do? | Completes three processes; Digestion, Absorption, and Metabolism. |
| What enzyme is located in the mouth and what form is it in? | Saliva is produced in your mouth from the Sublngual gland, it contains Amylase which helps break down starches. |
| Describe ingestion. | Ingestion is taking food into the body, like eating a piece of bread and munching on it. |

| Though funny words, what exactly are Villi and Microvilli? | Both are tiny folds along the small intestine they increase surface area and helps to soak in nutrients. |
| Also silly terms, the duodenum, Jejunum, and ileum are located where? | The small intestine |
| What is the function of the large intestine? | The large intestine soaks up any nutrients left over from the small intestine and also stores waste. |
