Cell Theory

Robert Hooke one of the first people to o9bserve cells. He gave them their name.
Anton van Leeuwenhoek looked at lake water and teeth scrapings. He called these organisms "animalcules" meaning "little animals".
Matthias Schleden concluded that all plants are made of cells.
Theodor Schwann concluded that all animals are made of cells.
Rudolf Virchow conclude that all cells come from cells.
Magnification how much larger an object appears. Found by multiplying the eye piece by the objective lens.
Resolution the ability to distinguish the individual parts of an object.
Compound Microscope uses two convex lenses and light to produce a magnified image.
Electron Microscopes uses a beam of electrons to produce a magnified image.
