mild traumatic brain injury

Symptom for mTBI include loss of consciousness loss of memory confusion physical weakness
Military mTBI not necessarily sustained via physical blow to the head but Typically the result of a closed-head injury from an explosion or blast from IEDs. Sound pressure wave causes barotrauma from over and under pressurization, affecting fluid and air-filled cavities
Neurological impairments may include: damage to white matter neurotransmitter impairments
Immediate symptoms for mTBI Headaches Dizziness Irritability Fatigue Poor Concentration
Important to prevent 2nd injury No Same Day Return to Play
