What is an Artery and how does blood flow here? blood vessel that carries blood away from the heart
What are veins and does blood flow? blood vessel that carries blood back to the heart
what are cappillaries? smallest blood vessel found between arteries and veins
What is an Atrium and where are they located? one of two upper chaone of two lower chambers
What are Vantricles and where are thry located? one of two lower chambers of the heart
What is the Aorta? main artery of the body
What is Plasma? yellowish fluid that makes up more than 50% of the volume of blood; it contains nutrirnts, hormones and minerals ansd is about 90% water ; it com\ntains nutrient, hormonrd and minersk and is about 90% water
What are Red blood cells? carried the oxygen through out the circulatory system
What are White blood cell? these cells are the body's defense against germs and bacteria
What are platelets? blood cells which help with blood clotting
What is coronary circulation? the heart needs a constant and fresh supply of blood which is delivered by the coronary circulation system
What is hemoglobon? a substance that attracts and holds onto oxygen molecules
