Cell membrane: Eukaryotic cell; The outer boundary
Mitochondria: Harvests energy from organic compounds.
Cytoplasm: Separates the cell from its interior
Lysosome: Small spherical organelles that contain the cells digestive enzymes
Ribosome: Where proteins are made from
Cell wall: Surrounds the cell membrane.
Cytoskeleton: Microscopic fibers
Chloroplasts: Organelles that use light energy to make carbohydrates from carbon dioxide.
Nucleus: A internal compartment that houses the cells DNA
Flagella: Long threadlike structures that protrude from the cells surface and enable movement.
Endoplasmic Reticulum: An extensive system of internal membranes that move proteins and other substances
Pili: bridge between the interior of the cells.
Gelgi Apparatus: eukaryotic; process and package macromolecules, such as proteins and lipids.
Capsule: enhances the ability of bacteria to cause disease.
Vacuoles: Plant cells; Containing waste products.
Nucleoside Region: molecular building-blocks of DNA and RNA.
