Chapter 2 Being Alive

what is decay? to break down into smaller particles and more basic forms of matter.
what is energy? the ability to do work.
what is a microscope? a device for viewing objects that are to small to be seen by the naked eye.
what is microscopic? something to small to be seen by the naked eye.
what are nutrients? substances organisms need for growth and life processes.
whats an organism? any living things.
whats recycle? to use again.
whats reproduction? the way organisms make more of their own kind.
whats respond? to act according to conditions in the enviroment.
whats are wastes? the left over matter a cell or body does not use.
