Hosiery mills Manufacturing facilities specialized in the knitting production of hosiery (socks, stockings, and tights).
Military production Manufacturing of clothing, gear and textile-based equipment specifically designed for military use.
Medical textiles Textiles that meet specific requirements for hygiene, safety, and functionality in the medical field.
NAFTA North American Free Trade Agreement (1994 – 2020) was a trade agreement between the USA, Canada, and Mexico that eliminated tariffs on specific textile and apparel goods.

Textile farming: Agricultural practices that involve growing, harvesting plants or raising animals that produce natural fibers.
